I spent the afternoon at the Guggenheim, and whenever I’m there I know there’s always something special for me in one of the side galleries that isn’t necessarily headlining in the center space. Beatriz Milhazes: Rigor and Beauty was a delight! Oxalá (I wish!) made me smile so I’m including it here because there may be a smile in it for you too. What questions do you have for the undulating, interlocking color here? Send them in to dearmercury@substack.com and tune in at the end of the week for answers.
