send your questions in for pangaea's papier-mâché dino to dearmercury@substack.com
If you don’t have dinosaur themed bodega art where you are, I got you. Rex’s Dino Store is a delightful way to come up out of the Grand Army Plaza Station in Brooklyn. This installation by artists Sarah Cassidy and Akiva Leffert is wild in all the best and most playful ways. It is the use of papier-mâché in particular that makes my heart sing and brings to mind the memory of arts programs in public schools (long live public art school programs). Was your favorite dinosaur the T-Rex? The Pterodactyl? What questions do you have for this papier-mâché which has been bringing joy since the Cretaceous Age? Send them in to dearmercury@substack.com and tune in at the end of the week for answers.
